Rumspringer Blazers

I finally finished coloring all of these weirdos that I started early last year.

These are some of the inhabitants of the Blazer World.

Domino

This is my contribution to Domino, an upcoming digital comic written by Nic J. Shaw. The story follows a domino mask through several time periods, and a different artist illustrated each segment.

If You've Got a Heart

This is a comic I made a few years ago but never posted.

However, the Patrick Dempsey cameo is brand new.

Tracer Metula and the Nightwolf

I made this comic about my band, Tracer Metula, for an anthology that Criminal Records intended to release on Free Comic Book Day. Unfortunately, the project didn't come together. Maybe next year.

Cat and Dog on their Penny‑Farthing

Here are the designs for my two baddies from Rumspringer. I cannot figure out an exciting color scheme for these idiots. This just seems boring. What to do?

Rumspringer: "A Farewell to Farms" Redux

Now in color! (And with several tweaks of the line art.)

Another Excerpt from 'Rumspringer'

Levi

This is from a Rumspringer panel that I pencilled today.

Furious Jorge

This completed my trilogy of twisted children's book parodies. I was going to make a second part where Jorge mauls the lady, and the man with the yellow hat has to shoot him. But then I got sort of disgusted with myself because this was created shortly after that lady lost her face in a chimp attack.

Drawing an angry Curious George face was a little tough because he literally never expresses that emotion in the books. Otherwise, I think I did H.A. Rey proud.

The Magical School Bus

Another old children's book parody that I finally got around to coloring.

Clifton, the Big Dead Dog

This is three years old but I just now finally colored it. Coincidentally, my beloved dog, Molly, died the same week I drew this. I miss her with all my heart. Please share this comic with a young child.

Rumspringer: "Meet Button"

...in which Levi stumbles upon Button in the abandoned city. I almost forgot that I drew these pages. Which is dumb cos I really like 'em.

Mini-Comics

Here are pics of the various mini-comics I made a few months ago. Supplies are limited so order today!

This one sells pretty well. I guess die-cuts impress people.

It's like a miniature school folder!

This takes forever to assemble because there're like 8 folds. I made 20 of these books on no sleep and was so delirious that I cut myself on some scissors. It was a bad scene.

It's the size of an actual NES instruction manual!

I've never seen a heart-shaped comic so that probably means I'm the only person who has ever made one.
